CONCRETE REPAIR KIT

Urochem 220 is a filled, thixotropic, solvent free, epoxy adhesive. It has been specifically designed for mortar patching and as a general-purpose adhesive in the construction industry. It is characterized by a good working life and fast cure.

Mix the entire contents of the base and activator components thoroughly together until the colour is a uniform grey without lumps or streaks

Patching of concrete, bonding of horizontal doweling bars/rods and as a generalpurpose adhesive and filler

Clean all tools and equipment immediately after use with Urochem 901. Once the epoxy has set it may only be removed mechanically.

All surfaces to be clean, sound, and dry, free from any oil laitance, dust or curing agents. Steel should be abraded, and concrete should preferable be abrasive blasted, etched or scabbled to remove laitance and expose firm aggregate. Remove dust with compressed air or vacuum.

• Contact with the skin should be avoided.

• Wear gloves and protective clothing.

• In case of eye contact wash well with warm water and obtain medical advice.

• The cured material is not toxic.

• Where the concrete is porous or for use in water retaining structures, prime with Urochem 101 or Urochem 106. Allow the solvent to evaporate from the primer for at least twenty minutes before application of Urochem 220.

• Apply the compound with a spatula or trowel. The surface may be smoothed using a steel trowel wetted with water. Bonded surfaces should be kept under compression until the epoxy has set.
